Goodbye Angelina – We’ve Sold our Boat!

It’s official, we’ve sold Angelina. The new owner took her away on the back of a lorry on Saturday taking her to her new life in Burnham on Sea.

I thought it would be nice to share some of our favourite pictures that we have of our journeys on her.

Calstock in Cornwall

Calstock is still our favourite place to go on the boat. You really feel like you’ve left all the stress from work and home behind when you are up there.

Royal William Yard in Plymouth

This photo was taken from Mayflower Marina, one of our regular stop off points.

They have some great restaurants in Royal William Yard including Wagamamas (our favourite), Le Bistrot Pierre, River Cottage and Prezzo. Although we don’t go over there as often as we like as it costs £5 just to tie up the dinghy. That’s expensive parking for just lunch!

The Barbican in Plymouth

Personally I love the Barbican in Plymouth. It has such a great mix of old and new and there always seems to be something going on there.

There are lots of places to eat including pubs, restaurants and street food stalls.

We love seeing Plymouth from the water!

The River Yealm in Devon

Another of our favourite sailing haunts. To read more about the River Yealm check out our Newton Ferrers and Noss Mayo post.

    1. Hi there, Glad you like the pictures. We haven’t made it up as fair as Exmouth or Lympstone yet but I’m sure we will at some point in the future. Do you have any blog posts about your journeys around Devon and Cornwall? If so I’d love to read them 🙂
